To promote community and institutional awareness of the importance of mind-body research in understanding the nature, course, and treatment of medical illnesses, particularly those that are chronic.

An entryway 1) for locating research collaborators at Washington University, 2) to identify mentors who sponsor biobehavioral fellowships or other research and training opportunities, 3) for discovering opportunities to participate in clinical studies, 4) for accessing information about mind-body interactions in health and disease, and 5) to participate in programs that improve health through their understanding of mind-body interactions.
